Instructions for Use
- Light the Stick: Hold one end of the Palo Santo stick at a 45-degree angle and light it with a match or lighter. Allow it to burn for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, then blow out the flame. The stick will produce a steady stream of smoke.
- Smudging Ritual: Hold the smoldering stick in one hand and use the other to direct the smoke. Move it around your space, person, or objects you wish to cleanse, focusing on corners and areas where stagnant energy may accumulate.
- Extinguish the Stick: Once you have finished your cleansing ritual, place the stick in a fireproof bowl or an abalone shell, with the burning end down. The embers will extinguish on their own. Make sure the stick is completely out before leaving it unattended.
- Reuse the Stick: Each Palo Santo stick can be relit several times. Store it in a dry, cool place to preserve its aroma and effectiveness.
